again resonate through Bayfront Park as the 5th Annual Haitian
Compas Festival observes the 200th Anniversary of the Haitian
Flag including a midnight dedication to emphasis the importance
of this milestone occasion. Noel and Cecibon Productions,
Inc. takes pride in bringing to South Florida the 5th Annual
Haitian Compas Festival. With a whopping 20,000 participants
in previous years, the Compas Festival has quickly become
the most talked about Haitian gathering in the world. Spectators
come from as far as London, Russia, New York, France and
the Antilles to take part in the fourteenth largest festival
in the Nation! As the success of this fabulous affair grows
at an astonishing rate every year, the 2003 show promises
to continue in this tradition. A show stopping line up of
the hottest artists around, including CARIMI, Djakout Mizik,
Konpa Kreyol, Zin, D-Zine, T-Vice, Tabou Combo, Nu Look,
and 509, among many others.
Endowed
with commercial appeal, Compas has quickly gained popularity
due to the massive impact of famed Haitian artists, who
have been featured at the Compas Festival throughout the
years.
For half a
decade, Noel & Cecibons mission has been to celebrate
the richness of Haitian culture through the production of
entertainment events while promoting social awareness within
our communities. Hence, the Compas Festival is definitely
a family-oriented gathering that denotes cultural diversity.
