AIDS Walk Caribbean brings together people from various walks of life," said Dawn Stewart, CEO/Founder of CPIC. "Many walkers have a personal connection to AIDS. They walk to remember loved ones who are no longer with us, to help friends, family members and persons who are living with HIV/AIDS to survive and live happy and productive lives, and for many people living with HIV/AIDS, it is to reaffirm their own lives. What these people all have in common is that they are coming together to remind everyone that the epidemic continue to affect us in 2004 in record numbers and they will continue to show their support by walking and raising money for people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

AIDS Walk is supported by a devoted group of corporations and individuals led by Premier Sponsor West Indian Soul Magazine, Principal Sponsor Carib Voice, Heritagekonpa Magazine Co & INC, WWRL1600 and Immigrant Journal.
