support "A Tree Of Hope For Haiti" by joining us in the fight to combat deforestation
in Haiti. Your donation will help to make a difference by supporting programs
that address Humanitarian relief prorams, reforestation, water, environmental
protection, and sanitation programs. Intense
deforestation leads to environmental degradation and poverty. Your tax-deductable
contribution will help finance the " Tree oF Hope For Haiti Project ". Sometimes
it takes one person or organization to initiate change, but it takes a nation
to make it happen. One
Tree = $1 Dollar. Yes
it cost only $1.00 to plant a tree and help in saving thousands of lives. | |

2004, Artists Relief Fund For Haiti, a 501c(3) Humanitarian Organization, and
L'Organization du Nord Ouest Pour le Development de L'Environement, have launched
a joint venture to help combat deforestation in the region of Port-De-Paix, Petit
Goave, and other regions in Haiti. We
are currently working with local farmers and school children in Port-De Paix's
to help them understand the importance of tree in the environment. Working in
Port- De- Paix, we have planted 6,000 trees in Source Cacao, a vital agricultural
site in the region. In the near future, we plan to increase that amount to 10,000
a year, if more funding were available. We would like to expand the program throughout
Haiti. In the next ten year, we plan to open 10 nurseries and plant over 2 millions
trees in Haiti. COMPANY
